At the end of Black River Road, the Black River spills into Lake Superior at a harbor ringed by old-growth hemlocks — accessible only on foot, via a boardwalk through the trees. It's one of the UP's best-kept secrets, and Alpen Villa's-Après 4 is your home base for it. This 1,000-square-foot condo sleeps eight in two queen bedrooms, with two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a wood-burning fireplace with firewood ready to go. Grill dinner on your private balcony. Step down to the lower deck — shared with Alpen Villa's-Après 3 — for the hot tub. The community firepits at each end of the building are open to all Après guests, firewood included. The ATV trail network is close. The mountain is just outside. And on slow days, there's Pac-Man. Alpen Villa's-Après 4 connects to Alpen Villa's-Après 3 for groups of up to 16.

The entire condo is yours — both bedrooms, both full bathrooms, the kitchen, living area, and your private balcony with a grill. Your unit shares a lower deck and hot tub with Alpen Villa's-Après 3 next door — a great setup when both units are booked for a larger group. Two outdoor firepits are available to all Après guests, one at each end of the building, with firewood provided. Entry is keyless; your personal door code will be sent 48 hours before check-in. Our local team is available by text or call throughout your stay.
